Description

Masahiro Takahashi

Edition of 200
Cassette tape with DL Code
Co-release with Uhira Uhira, UHR-005

Sampling from field recordings and layering arrangements from a variety of instruments, Takahashi thoughtfully crafted an inviting and vibrating instrumental record. It sounds like: A lush and misty forest, a moody evening by the creek, a dark cave lit by a single, flickering candle. It’s warm and muddy but with a crisp clarity at the same time. All songs composed and performed by Masahiro Takahashi for the exhibition, ‘Inside the snail’s shell’ by Eunice Luk from November 25 – December 14, 2016 at VACANT, Tokyo. Listen to it here.
